AI vibe coded my app. Here's how another AI fixed it.

EDITOR’S NOTE: This is a story about forcing AI to improve.

After struggling with two vibe coding platforms, Bolt and Lovable, I had Google Gemini critique the coding and suggest technical solutions in terms I could understand. Yep, I had one AI fix another AI’s work. At one point I had each platform responding to the other’s solutions, with me as the messenger. Gemini also helped me write mandatory rules for Lovable’s knowledge base, governing everything it does.

Now my app should work. I hope. Try it out, and then let me know what needs fixing.

What you’re about to read is Gemini’s behind-the-scenes account of fixing my app, with some tips for successful vibe coding. This was written entirely by my AI assistant. Gemini is not perfect and also needs babysitting, but... yeah. These are strange times.
