The Night Light is missing something. I think I figured it out.

Producing a polished podcast is fine, but it’s not what really gives me fulfillment. Spending time with you fulfills me deeply. That’s what made 1A so remarkable for me. That’s what made my work on MSNBC and NBC News Now unique: getting networks that only talk at us, to actually listen to us.

…Briefly, anyway. They clearly don’t give a damn what you have to say. I tried, y’all!

Realizing that I hadn’t been diligent with livestreaming clarified what’s not working about The Night Light for me… live interaction is what I thrive on. Interaction is connection, and connecting so little with you felt pretty lonely.
