THANK YOU for thinking about both vertical & horizontal viewers!

Best of luck on your new endeavor. I'm looking forward to it.

Sidenote:

I'm sure I'll be in the minority, but the subtitle bothers me.

For me, it implies, "stop debating & just get along."

I bemoan the fact that the 'negative' definition of ARGUE has superceded the 'positive' one As someone who studied both Philosophy & Science, making arguments is very positive.

Per Oxford Languages ·

ARGUE

ar·gue

verb

1.

give reasons or cite evidence in support of an idea, action, or theory, typically with the aim of persuading others to share one's view.

"“It stands to reason,” she argued"

Similar: reason, attest, expostulate, posit, postulate, advocate, make a case for, give reasons for, defend, explain, justify

2.

exchange or express diverging or opposite views, typically in a heated or angry way.

Argument is GOOD. And there's nothing wrong with a passionate one!

Argument (whether informal or formal debate) is helpful & needed, as long as it's fair, rational, fact-based. This isn't the same as a screaming match "argument" between people being loud, mean, & irrational.

Of course, LISTENING is a skill many of us need to work on. Sometimes it's better to just be quiet so we can really hear the argument, the feelings, the thoughts the "other side" is trying to express. That's my cue to shut up & listen to YOU, and gladly :)

You raise a very interesting point, my friend… been pondering it quite a bit. Let me get my thoughts together and see if there might be another way to verbalize this. Thanks for inspiring some new ideas! 😊
