Hello fellow pre-diabetic person! I too had to attend to this. How I did it was eating low carb, no added sugar. I didn't count carbs or anything, just eliminated those offending foods and was able to slowly drop 50 lbs. Feel much better and don't miss the high carb foods and junk foods at all. I don't deprive myself. If I want a small piece of dark chocolate, I have it, etc. Good luck, you can deal with this!

Yes, Joshua, my advice and thoughts exactly! Please DO watch your carb and sugar content and you will find your blood glucose numbers drop into the optimum range!

One product I can recommend if you are a bread-eater/sandwich lover is Sara Lee Delightful 45 breads, especially MultiGrain and Keto White....which have only 15 carbs or under for a TWO slice serving....available at great low prices at Walmart and Target, for example....

And a wonderful cookbook if you're into cooking and baking is 'Simply Keto', by Suzanne Ryan.....THE book that I found by Googling and chose for myself and bought for around $20 in 2019.

I now weigh more than 50 lbs LESS than I did prior to that. (I was inspired to try Keto and low carb eating by a friend in Canada who was posting her positive results on Facebook).

It's an easy-peasy way to eat, honest!

Anyway....'commercial over now'....but I simply wanted to pass along what worked for me and mine!!

Best of luck to you in all you pursue!

Thanks for the words of inspiration. I too, am full of dread regarding the election. I am desperately trying not to become paranoid about it, but feel that we are in for a rough tiMe regardless of the election. In my fear, I had simply overlooked the fact that we need to, as you said, keep on living regardless. Thanks for reminding me of this simple fact.

Great to have you back! I am a big believer in having a diversity of pursuits. BTW, Keto products can often let you avoid a few carbs here and there pretty easily. Not all are great, but f you play around with trying some you may hit some that are easy for you to incorporate.

I first visited Sonoma County in the early '80s and it changed my life and my goals. It's an amazing place.

Well helloooo nose ring! It feels like you are becoming more comfortable in your skin & it’s fun to watch. I love a good dance mix & can’t wait to see what you are doing next. And thank you for pulling me kicking & screaming out of the politics of it all. It’s refreshing.
