How NBC lost a gem like you, Joshua, will forever remain a mystery to me. But I look forward to whatever your next venture is. We need your voice and heart in this world.
Thank you so much for your sharing. I remember looking forward to the weekends on MSNBC. I loved your show and you are missed. God bless you as you continue your journey!
My heart worries for your piece of mind…please be safe and careful…not able to subscribe now…your words and voice got me through those crazy ass times…. Now there is no one (except Ali Velshi) who does that to my heart and well being. Thank you again for getting me through- I’m sure I am not alone…
Best of luck Joshua. I missed you greatly at 1A and in particular I liked you for being very fair in an entity that tends to have a strong liberal bias and you rarely hear a conservative viewpoint. After you left it returned to the bubble. In that I hope you can play a part in restoring a fair media that respects both sides of issues.
My wish since you left 1A has been consistent access to your voice and all that entails. Congratulations on the new adventure, we can’t wait to join you.
Discovered you during your time at 1A when I would listen in every chance I get - you have a great voice and way of storytelling that have captured so many of us. It was thrilling when I got a question chosen and heard it live in real time! For that, I’ve continued to follow you and I’m glad to see you taking charge of your next chapter. Best of luck in Vegas and on this new journey for you and your partner!
I've relished the chance to hear your voice since eaaaaaarrrrrly mornings on KQED. Your stint on MSNBC was far too short and herky jerky than you & your incomparable talent deserve, but as I read it being a job that truly taxed your spirit, I will stop yelling at the tv when I wish you were there and aren't. Lots of love to you - I'll forever be a listener.
You’re an incredible journalist and an incredible person. Please know that you have have so many fans and supporters that admire you and believe in you. <3
As you know, I wish you best and continued success. I’m super confident you will make this work. Looking forward to you being 2,200 miles closer to “home.” ❤️
I remember 18ish year old Josh and his dreams of journalism one summer in Toronto. Did a spit take when I saw you acting as pundit during the US election. Self re-invention seems to be on the menu for lots of us, excited to see what is in store for your new chapter.
Broke the rule that I mentioned on your FB post. Delighted for you. At one point in the 1980's I had a role in an event that involved Dixie Lee Ray. The professor I chose to introducer said about her "she can't keep a steady job". That was the first time I had heard that encomium, so it stuck with me. I held onto it as I picked up all the marbles in a number of fields over the years. Couldn't keep a steady job; at 65, joyful in my life, secure in my finances, and proud of all the things I did for a year here, 10 there and 3 over yonder. I wish the same for you.
Thanks for the update, Joshua. Like several, I've follow you from your NPR days and during your time at NBC. Every good wish as you navigate the messy process of decompressing, processing, healing, and moving towards your "Next". Happy to stick around for your journey. New awaits!

I really enjoyed listening to you on NPR, and watching you on weekend evenings. I was disappointed when you left prime time, now again.
You’re a great journalist and moderator. I know you’ll be successful in your next venture.
