Super Tuesday: What You Might've Missed

Super Tuesday: What You Might've Missed

Joe Biden & Donald Trump dominated Super Tuesday, causing Nikki Haley and Dean Phillips to drop out. If you’re ready to ignore politics altogether until November, you might want to think again. I think Super Tuesday was much more interesting on a local level. Law enforcement was a big theme. And the Texas election results gave us plenty to talk about. I’ll break it down, and consider what we should do now in the drawn-out, uninteresting, frankly depressing run-up to the 2024 presidential election.

This was the first episode of The Night Light that streamed live at its new time, 7pm ET. It’s also Day One of making the episodes shorter and more digestible (though, yes, they could be shorter still!). Usually these live streams, when I did them in the afternoons, drew about 20-25 people concurrently, watching and chatting together. Most of them were watching on YouTube.

Tonight we topped out at more than 400 people. Mostly on X(Twitter). WOW.

I’m not going to read too much into this evening’s viewership, but after the struggles of getting this thing off the ground I’ll take every win I can get! Hope you’ll join me for the live stream when you can. Tomorrow night (Thursday, March 7th) we’ll do a special live chat for Pres. Biden’s State of the Union address. Watch the speech and share your questions/thoughts in the live chat. Join me at 9pm ET.
